This program offers a unique opportunity for aspiring artists and enthusiasts to dive into the world of lowrider custom paint art. Led by the talented Aaron Munoz Jr., participants will learn techniques, explore creative expression, and gain a deeper appreciation for the artistry behind custom paintwork. Supplies for the program are generously provided by Rob Vanderslice, ensuring no cost to participants.

Open to ages 15 to 18 years of age
Art Showcase: June 3rd, 2025, 6:00 PM – 8:00 PM
Open to the public, featuring completed works by mentorship participants.

Are you an aspiring artist looking to dive into the world of lowrider design? Join our mentorship program and embark on a creative journey where you'll learn the artistry of customizing lowrider model cars from local industry experts. This mentorship program is not just about creating art; it's about fostering creativity, building connections, and preserving the rich tradition of lowrider culture in a new generation of artists.
Program Overview:
Hands-On Workshops: Dive deep into the world of lowrider artistry with practical, hands-on workshops led by Industry Mentors.
Customization Techniques: Learn lowrider design, from creating intricate paint jobs to customizing suspension systems for that perfect ride height.
Mentor Guidance: Receive personalized guidance and feedback from experienced mentors who have made their mark in the lowrider customization industry.
Showcase Opportunity: Get the chance to showcase your customized lowrider model at LAF/LEC pop ups and annual Chicano Art Festival, gaining exposure within the Chicano Art community.
This is a series and mentees will need to attend all to ensure to reach the full lessons and outcomes for the lowrider model car project.
